If you are a resident of Folly Beach, you are entitled to two parking decals. The decals allow you, as a resident, to park at the Washout and in some of the 50' right of ways which permit parking, free of charge. These permits expire on December 31st of each year and have to be renewed. The parking decals have to be affixed to the driver's side window in the lower corner. The following rules apply to those residents who wish to obtain parking decals.

• 1. The owner(s) of each residential unit located within the city shall be entitled to obtain two (2) parking decals.

• 2. Owners of multiple residential units within the city shall be entitled to obtain only two (2) parking decals regardless of the number of residential units owned.

• 3. Individuals, who do not own the residential unit in which they reside, shall be entitled to obtain two (2) parking decals upon demonstrating proof of residency in the City of Folly Beach. Proof of residency can be demonstrated by providing two (2) out of the following four items:

• a. A driver's license showing a City of Folly Beach residential address;

• b. A voter's registration card showing a City of Folly Beach residential address;

• c. A lease agreement indicating term of lease and address;

• d. A letter from the property owner stating the individual is leasing the property or has permission to live at the stated Folly Beach residential address and the length of time he/she plans to reside at said address.

After mailing the application, residents will have to go to the office of Palmetto Parking to pick up the Parking Decals. Thanks.
