    1. Cease and desist letter issued to an illegal duplex operating in the 6th Block of East Cooper.
    2. Stop work order issued for a potential renovation beyond 50 percent on West Ashley.
    3. Two cars and one boat reported to public safety for removal from the right of way.
    4. Citation for illegal tree trimming in the 3rd Block of West Ashley.
    5. Seven jobs stopped for either lack of permit or business license.
    6. Completed demolition of two substandard structures. One residential and one commercial structure were removed.

    In the near future, prior week’s Code Enforcement Activities will be relocated to a new home on our website. The City homepage will only list Activities for the prior week. When that happens our prior actions will still be available.

    This week the City removed illegal banners from 7 businesses on Folly Road and Center Street. Banners and flags are illegal within the City limits.

    Two(2) Businesses were cited for changes without the approval of the Design Review Board. They will apply for approval at the 5/17 meeting of the Board.

    One(1) Boat was tagged by Public Safety for removal from the right-of-way.

    Five(5) Contractors were stopped for working with no license and 7 projects were stopped for no permits.
