The Building/Facilities and Planning/Zoning Departments are responsible for overseeing all development related activities in the City as well as managing City owned properties. These departments can provide information on building codes, permits, and inspections, plan review, zoning regulations, business licenses, subdivision review, maintenance of walkovers and parks, floodplain management, and all other property related matters.

The Zoning Administrator is the staff liason for the Planning Commission, Design Review Board, and the Board of Zoning Appeals. Anyone interested in appearing before these Boards should contact the Planning/Zoning Department.
The Building Official is the official contact for floodplain management and stormwater management. Questions for flood information and stormwater inquiries should be directed to the Building Department.
