Tickets issued by City of Folly Beach officers (Traffic, City Summons) are handled through the City’s Municipal Court at the Community Center located at 55 Center Street while City Hall is being renovated. Court is held on Fridays at 9am.
If you wish to contest ticket , you or your representative must appear in person before the judge. Those who do not wish to appear in court may post the bond amount of the ticket with the Municipal Court. Fines are due prior to the commencement of court on the assigned court date.
To pay your ticket/s:
In person: Payments are received at the front counter of City Hall, 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Payments should be made in the form of cash, credit/debit card, certified check or money order (made payable to the City of Folly Beach).

A convenience fee will be applied to all tickets.
Mail: If you are unable to attend court, you may pay online or via a bank certified check, cashier’s check or money order made payable to the City of Folly Beach mailed to the City of Folly Beach, PO Box 48, Folly Beach, SC 29439. Personal checks will not be accepted as payment. Please include the original or a copy of the tickets with exact payment. If you do not have the ticket, be sure to include your name, ticket number (if available), court date, and your current mailing address.
To request a continuance, fill out the Continuance Request Form and fax it to 864-640-8785 prior to 9am on your originally scheduled court date.
To request a jury trial, fill out the Jury Trial Request Form and fax it to 864-640-8785.
To request a certified disposition, fill out a Disposition Request form and fax it to 864-640-8785.

The City of Folly Beach has partnered with Municipal Collections of America to assist collecting delinquent receivables including parking tickets. All delinquent tickets (including disputes of the original ticket) must be initiated through Municipal Collections of America.
